Refund Policy for Elagia Unified IT & Web Solutions

However, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund is requested. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be considered under the following conditions:

  • Initial Deposit: The initial deposit made before the project starts is non-refundable, as it covers our time and resources spent on planning and setting up the project.
  • Preliminary Design Stage: If a refund request is made before the completion of the preliminary design (i.e., wireframes or mockups), a refund of 50% of the project cost may be issued, provided that work has not proceeded past this stage.
  • After Design Approval: Once you approve the design mockups and we proceed to development or final stages of the project, refunds will not be provided, as significant time and resources have been committed to the project.
  • Ongoing Maintenance or Retainer Services: For ongoing maintenance or services provided on a retainer basis, refunds are not applicable after services have been rendered for the current billing period.

2. Refund Process

  • Request for Refund: To request a refund, clients must submit a written request via email or official contact form, detailing the reason for the request.
  • Review Period: Upon receiving a refund request, we will review the case and respond within 7 business days. We will evaluate the scope of work completed, the circumstances of the request, and make a final determination on the eligibility for a refund.
  • Refund Method: If approved, the refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.

3. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Customized or premium theme/template design work.
  • Purchased third-party tools, plugins, or software on behalf of the client.
  • Domain registration or hosting fees.
  • Any services provided after the design and development stages have been completed.

4. Changes in Scope or Cancellation

If the client wishes to cancel or change the scope of the project after it has started, we will work with you to adjust the timeline and pricing accordingly. Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges or an increase in the project cost.

5. Client Satisfaction

While we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with the final product, we encourage you to provide feedback at every stage of the project to ensure the design aligns with your vision. Our team is committed to making necessary revisions and improvements, and we will work closely with you to resolve any concerns before considering a refund.

6. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, technical failures, legal issues), we are not responsible for delays or the inability to complete a project. Refunds will not be issued under force majeure circumstances.
